Formulated as a ready-to-use multipurpose additive, Dulux Aquatech Waterproof Repair Polymer is ideal for use in repair mortars, bond coats, waterproofing primers, floor screeds, and putty applications. The unique latex formulation significantly improves the hardness and abrasion resistance of cementitious mixes while reducing water penetration and shrinkage. It creates a stronger, denser, and more durable repair system that withstands moisture, weather exposure, and everyday wear, making it suitable for both residential and commercial construction projects.

If you're looking for the best waterproof repair polymer in Kolkata, latex bonding additive for concrete repair, or a high-strength waterproof construction chemical in New Town, Dulux Aquatech Waterproof Repair Polymer offers professional-grade performance and long-lasting durability.

Application Description

Before application, ensure the repair surface is clean, dry, and free from loose particles, dust, grease, oil, and deteriorated concrete. Remove weak concrete using appropriate mechanical methods and roughen the surface to improve adhesion. Saturate the concrete with clean water before application and remove any standing water to create the ideal bonding surface.

For repair mortar, prepare the mix using 50 kg Portland cement, 150 kg washed sand, 6–7.5 kg Dulux Aquatech Waterproof Repair Polymer, and approximately 10 litres of clean water. Mix thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved before application.

For waterproofing applications, mix Dulux Aquatech Waterproof Repair Polymer with cement in a 1:1.5 ratio by weight and blend for 2–3 minutes to eliminate air pockets. Apply two coats over the prepared concrete surface with an interval of 4–6 hours between coats. This application is ideal for bathrooms, balconies, sunken slabs, chajjas, parapet walls, and areas beneath floor tiles. After curing, protect the coating with a suitable cement screed.

As a bond coat, mix the polymer with cement in a 1:1 ratio by weight and apply one uniform coat over the prepared concrete surface. Apply the repair mortar while the bond coat remains wet and tacky to achieve maximum adhesion. For concrete repairs, floor screeds, and putty enhancement, always follow the recommended mix ratios and use a mechanical mixer wherever possible to ensure a homogeneous mix and optimum performance.
